Photo Exhibition: The Wax and Gold of Hair styles in Ethiopia
SORC, together with the Frobenius Institute and the Goethe Institute in Addis Abeba successfully organized the photo exhibition: “Wax and Gold of Hair styles in Ethiopia”. The photo exhibition took place in the newly constructed meeting hall.
Memorandum of Understanding is signed between South Omo Research Center of Jinka University and the Frobenius-Institute, Frankfurt, Germany.

Arba Minch University transferred SORC to Jinka University
Since 2015 SORC was administered under Arba Minch University. Upon the request of Jinka University, SORC was transferred to Jinka University on 19 June, 2020 with a colorful ceremony.
